About the Program

Welcome to the Global Health Equity Scholars Program

The Global Health Equity Scholar Program is a one year global health research program for those students who aspire to excel in the field of global health. This fellowship is sponsored by the Fogarty International Center (FIC) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and involves collaboration and participation of various prestigious universities and agencies across United States. These include the Florida International University (FIU), Yale University, University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University. The Global Health research fellows will get an opportunity to research and work in 16 countries at 19 different international sites and will be mentored by a global health research faculty.
